Any regularly registered full-time Eckerd student may audit a course without fee, subject to permission of the instructor. Part-time students or students not registered for credit at Eckerd, may attend courses as auditors subject to formal permission of the instructor and payment of an auditor’s fee published on the tuition and fees page of the Eckerd College website.

A student who audits a course may attend the course for enrichment but is not required to take course examinations or complete other course requirements. An entry is made on the student’s permanent record concerning audited courses. In this case a grade of “AUD” appears on the student’s record and no credit is awarded.

Course registrations may be changed from credit to audit or audit to credit up until the add/drop deadline of the term. Registration changes will result in changes to the billing statement.
