In fact, an Eckerd College chemistry degree, combined with a broad liberal arts education, provides the flexibility for educational and career paths afforded by few other academic areas. Our chemistry program has served as preparation for careers in industry, medicine, government, law, and education, as well as advanced study in chemistry itself, or related sciences such as biology, marine science, and physics.
